About The Game
2MD: Football is an arcade style football game. You’re placed in the shoes of a Quarter Back whose team is just one touch down away from winning the game. You have the responsibility of drawing out your plays and leading your team through 7 of these scenarios to win the 2MD Championship Ring. At the time of writing this, 2MD on the Oculus Quest is a single player game. So should you get it?

Immersion

While before the gameplay was restricted to just the tackle dummy’s, 2MD now offers an array of defensive player types: from Robots to Amazonian Women. These players can be scaled to your height giving you the real claustrophobic pressure of getting the ball out of your hands quick!
Speaking of getting the ball out quick, the throwing mechanic feels great. Although there is an initial learning curve, as soon as you get the hang of it, it will never be a problem again. On top of this, 2MD has some hidden, intuitive mechanics that helps you feel like a real quarterback. Not able to find an open receiver? Run it in! About to get run over by a defender? Give them a stiff arm.

Because of the immersive player types and the intuitive player mechanics, I give
2MD: Football a 9 in Immersion.

Thoughts
The concept of 2MD is really simple: 7 Rounds of 4th quarter drives to win the championship. Even though it sounds like there’s not a lot to do, I’ve found the game really addicting! Although each round is similar in concept, it gets really difficult by the time you reach Round 7. This difficulty forces you to LITERALLY go back to the drawing boards and create new routes that you have to utilize in order to win.
On the down side, I really wish we could see multiplayer in 2MD. This may seem like a big ask but multiplayer is a feature in other ports of 2MD like in PSVR.
For real football fans, however, the itch to play 2MD always comes back. Whenever you watch your favorite quarterback play, 2MD is the best way to feel just a glimpse of the pressure that they feel. I sometimes try to emulate the routes of the Chiefs and I am always saying Mahomes’s cadences in my head.

Thoughts
2MD is another gem of a game. The gameplay is really fun and it is in the cheaper range coming in at $15. More impressive than that is the consistent updates that they push through. The 2MD now has improved so much from the 2MD I originally bought.
One of the most valuable quirks of 2MD, however, is just how easy it is to pick up. This game is the perfect game to show family and friends that are long time fans of football but brand new to VR. After putting them in the game, they quickly overlook the fact that they are in VR and are totally immersed in trying to get a touch down.

2MD: Football is a simple VR arcade game that gives you the excitement of playing as a quarterback in make or break scenarios. The satisfaction of throwing a touchdown just in time can be found here. It’s continuous updates and intuitive gameplay makes this a really great game. Because of this, I give
